BASINGSTOKE, UK – Basingstoke Tennis is delighted to announce the launch of its Festival of Free Tennis, a community-wide initiative designed to get the town moving, socialising, and back on court this year.

Starting from 20th January 2026, the festival offers a packed programme of free activities, catering to everyone from total beginners to lapsed players looking to get back into the swing of things. With a focus on fitness and community, the initiative aims to remove the barriers to entry by providing equipment, professional coaching, and a welcoming environment at no cost.

The Festival of Free Tennis highlights include:

• Free Parks Tennis Weekly Social Sessions: Large, informal group sessions every weekend. Led by qualified activators, these sessions are perfect for mixing in and meeting new people.
• Grand Open Day Event: A flagship community day featuring adult and junior coaching tasters, a chance to meet our friendly coaching team, and exclusive on the day discounts running January 2026.
• Free Coaching Taster Sessions: For those looking to improve their game, free tasters for our brand new group coaching programmes are available from 20th January. These offer a "no commitment" way to try our weekly sessions without sign up fees.

How to Join: Anyone can view the full schedule and book their free spots by visiting the link/s below. Sessions are held across local venues, including Basingstoke Indoor Tennis Centre and Stratton Park.
