One Club Pass with everything included for £26 a month, simpler pickleball court times, a brand new website, and a smart access gate with automatic floodlights at War Memorial Park.
It's been a busy few weeks at Basingstoke Tennis, and we've got plenty of good news to share: a simpler Club Pass, easier pickleball booking, a brand new website, and a smarter, safer way onto court at War Memorial Park.
We've made Club Pass simpler. Instead of choosing between separate tennis, pickleball and unlimited options, there's now just one Club Pass at £26 a month, and it includes everything:
That means tennis players can now join our pickleball socials, pickleball players can join our tennis club sessions, and everyone gets the same great member rates, all for the price of the old single-sport pass. You can cancel at any time.
If you already have a Club Pass, there's nothing you need to do right now. We'll be in touch separately to explain how the change affects you.
We've also made it easier to know when you can book a pickleball court. Our four indoor pickleball courts, marked out on court 3 of the indoor tennis centre, now have the same set booking times every week:
Court 3 is shared with tennis, so outside these times it's kept for tennis bookings, coaching and our weekly club sessions.
Our new website brings everything together in one place: booking courts at War Memorial Park and Stratton Park, coaching for youth and adults, holiday camps, club sessions, memberships and Park Social café. Bookings and memberships still run through your existing account, so you can sign in just as before using My account at the top of any page.
With support from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, we've installed a new smart access gate on the outdoor courts at War Memorial Park. It makes the courts safer and more secure for everyone, especially the children and young people who come to coaching.
When you book a court, you'll receive your own unique PIN code. It's shown on your booking confirmation and sent in your confirmation email, and it only works for the time you've booked. The outdoor floodlights now come on automatically for your booking too, so there's nothing to switch on.
If you come to coaching or one of our weekly Club Pass sessions, you'll be emailed a gate code for your course or session. It stays the same every week, so you can use the same code each time you come.
Please make sure the gate closes behind you and is never propped open. It's an important part of keeping everyone on site safe.
For now, the indoor court door stays open during our opening times and the indoor lights are still on manual switches, so please switch them off when you've finished. We'll let you know when the indoor door goes live.
